Nelson Fonseca received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California in 1994. He is a Professor at the Institute of Computing of the State University of Campinas, Brazil. He has published 400+ papers in refereed conferences and journals. He served as the IEEE ComSoc Vice President for Technical and Educational Activities. He is the President-Elect of the IEEE Communications Society.

Shivkumar Kalyanaraman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), India. A technologist with a unique blend of academic and industrial experience, he previously served as a Distinguished Scientist at GE Research and a Program Director at IBM Research - India. He was also a Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). His expertise covers traffic management, wireless systems, and energy/grid modernization. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).
