Yathish is the CTO for Huawei Technologies and is responsible for the technology strategy, Platforms and tools for next generation ICT products, technology readiness and to drive key strategic initiatives for the global organization. Yathish is currently focused on driving Huawei's SOA strategy and has setup the 'SOA Innovation Center' based out of Bangalore, India to build the underlying platforms, infrastructure, tools, standards and methodologies to help realize the vision of creating futuristic Telecom infrastructure and to create the SOA Center of Excellence.

Yathish is a seasoned technology professional with over 21 years of experience in the Software industry designing innovative enterprise grade software. He was instrumental in transitioning the North American Tier 1 broadband operators to move from offering single line of business to triple play, quad play and beyond by taking advantage of the converging telecommunications industry in the 90's, triggered by changes in laws, and by building relevant platforms and products. He has built forward looking enterprise class platforms for SOA, BPM and Cloud and is the early adopter of what is now popularly known as Cloud Computing, SOA and BPM even before these terms were formally coined.

Prior to joining Huawei in early 2010, Yathish was heading the global Engineering organization for SupportSoft Inc for two years. Prior to that he worked in USA for 14 years where he served as head of Architecture and Design organization for CSG Systems, Inc. driving key strategic initiatives & built platforms and products for the North American broadband market. He started his career in 1991 for a Canada based startup company where he built Decision Support System products and tools. Yathish holds a MBA degree from University of Nebraska, USA and B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University, India. Yathish is born and brought up in Bangalore, India and after living in the USA for 14 years Yathish is now settled in Bangalore.
