With over 20 years of experience in the technology space, Avneesh is passionate about converting research ideas into commercial reality. In 2015, he co-founded Netradyne with a mission to reduce road accidents through technology. Using cutting-edge vision-based products that leverage AI and Edge Computing, he leads the company's goal to improve fleet and road safety, resulting in a safer and smarter transportation ecosystem. Prior to founding Netradyne, Avneesh spent over 20 years with Qualcomm, a global leader in semiconductors, software, and wireless technology. With over 200 U.S. patents to his credit, he contributed significantly to the company's Research & Development and served as Senior Vice President of Technology & Global head of Corporate Research. Avneesh served as President of India & South Asia, the last four years at Qualcomm. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and an aspiration to make a difference, Avneesh co-founded Netradyne with Qualcomm colleague David Julian. As the CEO of Netradyne, Avneesh works closely with enterprises across the globe in the space of commercial fleet safety solutions that harness the power of computer vision and edge computing to revolutionize modern transportation. In a short span of 7 years, Netradyne has got market traction across 3 continents with several hundred thousand devices on the road already. These are spread across the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand and India. The company has been recognized on various technology and business platforms worldwide, most recently by Forbes as one of the top 50 AI companies. A reputation for developing a friendly, safe, and driver-focused culture has helped the company raise $200 million from some of the marquee investors, including Reliance, Softbank, Point 72 and M12 (Microsoft’s venture arm). Avneesh has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, all from Stanford University.
