Topic: Issues and challenges in Data Centre Networking.

Abstract: The networks that interconnect large data centers have changed dramatically in the past few years. . The advent of highly virtualized computing
environments has meant that these networks need to dynamically adapt to
rapidly mobile workloads. The emphasis on sub-microsecond end-end delay for applications such as high-frequency trading has turned these networks into
optimized end-end interconnect fabrics. The requirements for rapid
deployment and minimizing operational costs has meant that systems, storage
and networks are all now managed through the same tools and methods. In this
talk, we will highlight these trends and discuss some forthcoming challenges
and research issues.
