Dr. Madanmohan Rao is research director of YourStory.in, India's No.1 digital platform for startups and investors. He is the editor of five book series including The Asia Pacific Internet Handbook, The Knowledge Management Chronicles, and World of Proverbs. He produces annual innovation reports on Asia and Africa for MobileMonday, a global network of mobile startups and developers. He is co-founder of the Bangalore K-Community, a network of knowledge management professionals. Madan was formerly the communications director at the United Nations Inter Press Service bureau in New York, and vice president at IndiaWorld Communications in Bombay. He graduated from the IIT Bombay and UMass Amherst, with an M.S. in computer science and a Ph.D. in communications. Short Bio of Sachin Garg

Sachin Garg is the founder of MintM, a smartphone-based customer engagement platform. He has a B.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi. He has over 12 years of industry experience including in companies like Intel, Symbol Technologies and Cisco. MintM was founded by IIT and ISB alumni. Its target is the $450 billion Indian retail industry with about $25 billion in organized retail.

Short Bio of Abheek Bose

Abheek Bose currently heads and runs the business of Robots Alive, a young robotics company based in Bangalore. Abheek graduated in Mechanical Engineering from RV College, Bangalore in 2003. He then studied in University of Bonn and interned along with Fraunhofer Institute on Intelligent Robots. In 2005, Abheek returned to India and joined his family business, ADA Software, where he became technical director. In 2009, Abheek started Robots Alive with a strong vision of "Omnipresent Robotics" - to apply robot and robotics technologies everywhere. "Andy" is a robot system targeted towards entertainment and education, which combines smartphone technology with robotics.

Vishnu Raned is founder of music library Twaang. He has spent most of his career in the enterprise software space in the Asia-Pacific. He is a specialist in building business from ground zero for companies/startups looking to establish/grow in the Asia-Pacific/India region. His international experience in cross-border enterprise solution sales spans Asia-Pacific/Europe/USA, with a track record of aggressive growth, turnarounds and long term client relationships. His new startup, Twaang, is an on-demand mobile music library for Indian music lovers around the world. With over 50,000+ music tracks, 6000+ albums, 4000+ artists, and many independent musicians/artists, Twaang brings the largest collection of "Indian" music available on smartphones.

Short Bio of Sidhant Jena

Sidhant Jena is co-founder of Jana Care. He was an R&D Engineer at Medtronic. He has a MBA from Harvard, and graduated in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. Trained as a biomedical engineer, he used to design products for cardiac disease management at Medtronic and was most recently involved with a novel mobile phone based cancer screening program with Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore. His work has won many awards and most notably the 2011 Harvard Business Plan Competition. Sidhant received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he was also the Robert S. Kaplan Life Sciences Fellow. Today, Jana Care (http://www.janacare.com) is in the business of reversing "Diabesity" - the twin epidemic of diabetes and obesity, by embedding mobile technology with diagnostics and proven behaviour change science.
