Personalization and social networking functionality allows carriers to respond to the individual needs, interests, social relationships, and tastes of each subscriber.  It allows mass market providers to make every user’s experience unique and every device a node for social relationships.

Providers need to make their services much more “sticky” so that subscriber churn can be minimized and revenue can be maximized.  New mobile VAS personalization and social networking services from entrepreneurial enterprises will help achieve these goals.
