We would like to emphasize that all of the following items must be completed latest by December 11th, 2012, in order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings.

  1. The recommended format must be used (see Formatting Instructions below).
  2. All pdf files must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus check. IEEE PDF eXpress PLUS is the final collection site for camera-ready papers for this conference (see Submission Instructions page).
  3. The IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted by e-mail to [email protected]  (see IEEE Copyright Form Instructions on next page).
  4. At least one author paper must register at the full rate (even if that author is a student) before the camera ready deadline. Registration page is here , and for payment registration portal, click here.
  5. Every paper (including poster papers and workshop papers) must have a FULL registration (not a student registration).   Invited papers have discounted registration
  6. We can allow one registration for upto two papers (by the same set of authors). The third paper (whatever be the category) by the same author/s must be registered (therefore, this would be the second registration).

Formatting Instructions for Camera-Ready Versions

Camera-ready version of papers must be submitted as PDF files. The authors should use paper size letter, and conference mode. Please use the Word / LaTeX templates given below.

Ensure the following:

  • No pictures of the author or biographies appear anywhere in the manuscript
  • Page number and volume of publication should not appear in camera ready
  • The final manustrcipt does not exceed the following page limits. Maximum page limit includes all text, figures, tables, and references.
    • For COMSNETS conference: 10 pages for full paper and 2 pages for poster
    • For Workshops: 6 pages for full paper and 2 pages for demo/poster
  • An appropriate copyright notice is to appear at the bottom of the first column of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. A sample latex command to achieve this is available in the latex template corresponding to Linux/Unix as mentioned below
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-4673-5494-3/13/$31.00 © 2013 Crown
    • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-4673-5494-3/13/$31.00 © 2013 IEEE
  • As an example, Latex users can add following lines just before \begin{document}:
    • \IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
    • \IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{978-1-4673-5494-3/13/\$31.00~\copyright~2013 IEEE \hfill}
