Submission Instructions for IEEE Copyright Form

IEEE copyright form must be submitted for each accepted paper (conference and workshops). You can download an IEEE Copyright Form at the following URL: http://www.ieee.org/documents/ieeecopyrightform.pdf. The IEEE Publication Title in the copyright form should be "2013 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Networks (COMSNETS)".

Print out the form, fill it out, sign it, scan it into a PDF. Note that, both the pages of the IEEE copyright form should be scanned and sent within a single pdf file (even if nothing is altered on the second page). Send it as an email attachment to [email protected] with a subject line: COMSNETS 2013 Copyright Form.

Additional Instructions

As the camera ready process has been significantly delayed due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy on IEEE publications office, the preparation of COMSNETS 2013 proceedings will follow a tight schedule. Therefore, the authors are requested to take extra care in preparation of their camera ready submissions, so that a revision of the submission can be avoided. Please read the paper carefully before submission and ensure the following points.

  • There are no missing references and none of the citation appear as [?].
  • The correct copyright information appears on the first page at the bottom of the first column.
  • The footer for the first column on the first page only contains the copyright information. Other information, such as author affiliations and project support, should not appear here.
  • There are no page number on the first page (especially, check the top right hand corner) and on the subsequent pages.
  • Invited papers should not mention "invited paper" in the title.
  • Affiliations of all authors are present.
  • All figure and table captions appear clearly, and do not overlap with main text.
  • Figures and Tables do not extend into the margins.
  • The signed copyright form is emailed within the deadline. Both pages of the form should be emailed.
  • If the pdfexpress check throws font embedding error, to embed font in your pdf file, on linux run:

    ps2pdf14 -dPDFSETTINGS=/printer <name_ps_without_brackets>

    or

    gs -q -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=<name_pdf_without_brackets> <name_ps_without_brackets>

Note: These issues were reported for some camera ready submissions last year, and these problems may not be detected by the pdfexpress tool.
