Ishwar Parulkar is a Cisco Distinguished Engineer and the CTO for Service Provider Access Group. In this role he is responsible for technology and architecture of products spanning small cells, service provider Wi-Fi access and cell-site, access, pre-aggregation and aggregation routers. After spending several years in Silicon Valley in USA in companies such as Apple and Sun Microsystems, Dr. Parulkar relocated to India in 2010 to lead conception and development of 3G/4G advanced services routers entirely from the Bangalore site. In addition to being an innovative product in its space, these router platforms - the ASR 901 - have been a proof point for developing leading edge, global hi-tech ICT products end-to-end from India. The routers won the 2012 NASSCOM Innovation Award for New Technology Advancement and the 2012 Economic Times Award for the Most Innovative Telecom Infrastructure Product. In addition to launching new global networking products and technology, Dr. Parulkar is passionate about and deeply involved in building technical leadership and a culture of innovation in the Indian IT landscape.
Prior to Cisco, Dr. Parulkar was a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems (Santa Clara, USA), where he was instrumental in architecting and developing several generations of SPARC servers, storage/networking datacenter equipment and associated high-performance microprocessors/chipsets. Before his stint at Sun, Dr. Parulkar worked at Apple (Cupertino, USA) on their first generation laptops and the radical Newton handheld PDA, which was a pre-cursor to the smart phone revolution. He has made many fundamental innovative contributions to the IT industry, several of which are captured in the 30+ technical papers he has published and the 19 patents he holds. He holds a Ph.D. in EE from University of Southern California. He is currently a member of the EE Technical Advisory Board at University of Southern California.
Subhas has over 23 years of Telecom experience spanning across Product R&D, Outsourced Software development, System Engineering, Solutions architecting, Technical presales. He currently heads the Wireline R&D practice that includes a portfolio of Optical, Ethernet and IP technologies. Subhas is a passionate technologist, always eager to learn new Technologies. SDN/NFV is a key interest area and he is developing SDN/NFV solutions that are relevant to Wipro customers. He did his B-TECH from IIT Kharagpur in E&ECE.
Daya Kamath is a Senior Technical Staff Member in the Cloud Networking Division at IBM, GTS. She is currently focused on the strategy, solutions, architecture and implementation of SDN solutions. She has been the lead architect for the IBM SDN-VE Openflow controller, and is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology. Daya has 17 years of experience in the networking industry, and has been with IBM since 2007, where she has held successive development and architect roles in the organization focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, data center network architecture, standardization, and emerging technologies including virtualization and SDN. Prior to joining IBM she has worked on industry leading networking solutions from Riverstone Networks, Cabletron Systems and Fore Systems. Daya holds a Master of Science (Computer Science) degree from Iowa State University.
Jayaram Beladakere is the Head of System & Technology, Ericsson BU Cloud & IP R&D India, Bangalore. He has more than 20 years of solid accomplishments, gaining and demonstrating a wealth of experience in building technology products and solutions.
He has, as a System and Network Architect, developed multiple carrier-class products and solutions for access, metro and service edge markets from the ground up.?In his role as a Strategic Product Manager, he has driven the transformation of Ericsson's IP/ Router portfolio.?Currently as an R&D Leader, he has been building and leading team of technologists (system architects) that form the core of Ericsson's IP & Broadband R&D center in Bangalore - powering rapid progression along the value curve.

Mr. Lathia has more than 25 years of senior management experience in ICT (Telecommunications) industry for product strategies and development where standardization plays a key role. As part of an international team, he was responsible for coordinating activities for technical standards and regulations at national, regional and international level to provide the most cost-effective solutions. As a result, Mr. Lathia has personally participated in the relevant standardisation bodies, conferences and industry fora groups.
Within Europe, Mr. Lathia had been member of the European Commission's Steering Committee defining ICT Standardization Policy for Europe. He was also Chairman of (European) ICT Standards Board (ICTSB) which coordinated European efforts in the ICT standardization. He has also participated in CEPT on behalf of Italy.
Within ETSI, Mr Lathia has actively participated in all its management meetings, including ETSI Board and as Chairman of ETSI Finance Committee. As a member of ETSI team, he was instrumental in the creation of the 3GPP and subsequently represented ETSI at 3GPP management meetings determining 3GPP standardisation directions and funding.

She has traversed through the path of Microelectronics development, E-Learning, Technology Development for Indian Languages, Digital Libraries and now E-Infrastructure and Internet Governance in her stint with the Government of India.
Ms Tulika Pandey is a member of the IEEE Women in Engineering Society. She has conducted technical training programmes and entrepreneurial workshops for ubiquitous ICT interventions in human life for inclusion and contribution of women in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. She is spearheading activities of Internationalization of Internet, Internet Proliferation and its last mile outreach within India. She represents the concerns of India and government in particular in the International and National forums of Internet Governance, Internationalization of Internet and Women in ICT.
Dipankar Raychaudhuri is Distinguished Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering and Director, WINLAB (Wireless Information Network Lab) at Rutgers University. Dr. Raychaudhuri has previously held corporate R&D positions including: Chief Scientist, Iospan Wireless (2000-01), AGM & Dept Head, NEC Laboratories (1993-99) and Head, Broadband Communications, Sarnoff Corp (1990-92). He obtained the B.Tech (Hons) from IIT Kharagpur in 1976 and the M.S. and Ph.D degrees from SUNY, Stony Brook in 1978, 79. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
Dr. Manish Gupta is Vice President at Xerox Corporation and Director of Xerox Research Centre in India. Previously, Manish has served as Managing Director, Technology Division at Goldman Sachs India, and has held various leadership positions with IBM, including that of Director, IBM Research - India and Chief Technologist, IBM India/South Asia. From 2001 to 2006, he served as a Senior Manager at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, where he led the team developing system software for the Blue Gene/L supercomputer. IBM was awarded a National Medal of Technology and Innovation for Blue Gene by US President Barack Obama in 2009. Manish holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He has co-authored over 75 papers, with more than 5,500 citations in Google Scholar in the areas of high-performance computing, compilers, and virtual machine optimizations, and has been granted more than 15 US patents. While at IBM, Manish received an Outstanding Innovation Award, two Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards and the Lou Gerstner Team Award for Client Excellence. Manish is an ACM Fellow and a recipient of a Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Delhi.
Dr. Aloknath De is Chief Technology Officer of Samsung R&D Institute India and also Senior VP for 'Digital Media and Communication' activities in Bangalore. Dr. De has more than twenty-five years of industrial and research experiences including the most recent one in ST-Ericsson where he was Director and Country Manager. He holds B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur; M.E. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore; and Ph.D. from McGill University, Montreal. He is a recipient of 'Alexander Graham Bell Prize' in Canada and received IETE Memorial Awards in India. Dr. De has served as an Adjunct Professor with IIT-Delhi and also as an AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor with IIT-Roorkee. He is a senior member of IEEE, and fellows of IE, IETE and INAE.

Venkatesh Kumaran (Venki) is the Vice President of Strategy and Operations at IESA (India Electronics and Semiconductors Association) and is passionately working to grow the ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) industry in India executing on the National Electronics Policy.
