BEST PhD THESIS AWARD
From 2021, COMSNETS would be awarding best Ph.D. thesis in the country. There would be up to two such awards each year. The award carries a cash prize of INR Rs. 75,000/-.
Application Process
All applications for the best Ph.D. thesis award should be submitted by the candidate's PhD Advisor and will need detailed justification (including why the doctoral research is of superior quality, and an assessment of the candidate's potential to innovate in their field of study). The submitted application should include a nomination letter justifying why the thesis should receive the award and a copy of the final dissertation (as accepted by the candidate's institution) in electronic format.
Eligibility
The following are the eligibility criteria for the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award:
- Thesis defended during academic year 2024-25
- Areas of thesis preferably in Areas of CoMSNETs & AIML Systems Conference
A committee composed of members of the COMSNETS Association will select the candidates for awards. Applications should be submitted, to Mrs. Chandrika Sridhar, in the given format(Download Nomination Format).
