Serene Banerjee, Master Researcher, Ericsson Research, Bangalore, has 18+ years of industrial experience post completion of her Ph.D. from The Univ. of Texas at Austin, under Prof. Brian L. Evans in 2004. She has a B.Tech. (H) in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1999. At Ericsson she is focusing on developing AI/ML algorithms for Radio Access Networks. She has 28 peer reviewed publications, nine granted patents and several pending.

Veena Rao is the Vice President & Business Head for Connected Corporate Banking and Fusion Corporate Channels at Finastra. She has over 25 years’ experience in financial services and banking technology. She started her career with India’s leading private sector bank, ICICI Bank, where she built skills across project finance, corporate banking, forex treasury and relationship banking functions. She moved over to Banking technology managing Presales for FLEXCUBE at Oracle Financial Solutions followed by a stint in HCL Technologies to launch the product incubation unit for banking. At Finastra, Veena has been instrumental in actively launching an ecosystem of fintech apps on FusionFabric.cloud to help banks harvest the potential of the fintech revolution and the open banking paradigm.
