Wireless and ubiquitous connectivity have enabled mobile computing and Internet access on the go. More than 50 billion devices, in more than 200 device types, will likely be connected to the Internet by 2020 as integral components of a new generation of high-value application services for consumers and enterprises. This edition of Mobile India is will explore the application of AI and ML in different type of mobile services and networks such as Internet of Things, Machine-to-Machine communication, mobile & wearable computing, mobile enterprise & e-commerce, collaborative & social services. The Telcos, Internet Service Providers, Content and Application Providers have access to vast amount of personal and device data, especially with respect to their locations, that they can harvest them along with the use of AI and ML to provide advanced services.

However, world over regulators have become wary about the use of personal data for purposes other than the intended one. They have also started noticing algorithmic biases of AI and ML. This edition of Mobile India will address these challenges by inviting experts in industry to discuss and deliberate on the core issues surrounding the use of AI and ML in mobile services.
