COMSNETS 2022 Travel Grants
The COMSNETS 2022 Organizing Committee is pleased to announce a significant number of travel grants to facilitate local and international travels of the participants.
- The local travel grants will be offered to students and faculty members from India who have accepted papers/posters/demos in the conference. The participants to the Graduate Student forum are also eligible to apply for local travel grants.
- Depending on the conference funding, the local travel grant may also be available to participants who are not authoring any paper in the conference.
- A limited number of International travel grants will be available to International student applicants who have an accepted paper in the conference. A limited number of International travel grants may also be available to overseas participants to the Graduate Student Forum.

Important Notes:
- It is required for all travel-grant awardees to be present during all five days of the conference and attend all sessions. The awardees may also be assigned to transcribe some of the sessions, whereas summaries generated will be posted on the conference web site, along with the names of the authors. Additionally, the awardees will have to sign an attendance sheet twice on all five days.
- All the participants MUST be vaccinated with both doses and are requested to carry the “Vaccination Certificate” along with them and produce them at the Conference Information/Registration Desk.
- The awardees will be provided accommodation for all five days at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.
- Travel bookings for the Local travel-grant awardees will be done by COMSNETS. The awardees should share their travel dates with the Travel Grants Chair, using a form that will be shared at a later date.
- Local travel (within Bangalore) is covered only if public transport is availed.
- Travel grants would be strictly released against the original receipts/tickets.
- Student awardees need only register for the main conference, but are expected to be present on the 4th and 8th Jan for the workshops.
