Demos & Exhibits

COMSNETS 2016 features a "Demos and Exhibits" session designed to allow start-ups, industries and researchers to showcase their latest industrial applications and research prototypes in all communications and networking related topics. This includes innovative technologies, platforms, analysis tools and applications related to (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Mobile Applications

  • Cloud Applications

  • Telecom Applications

  • Wireless Systems

  • Networking Equipments

  • Networking Platforms

  • Crowdsourcing Applications

  • Web Technologies

  • Computer Systems in Energy Domains

The demo session will be co-located over two days to ensure maximum visibility and to enable a close interaction between presenters and participants. Continuing with success of last year's event, we are especially inviting technology start-ups to participate in the event and present their products. We are also planning to have reduced registration fees for start-ups.

Submission Categories

A 2 page abstract of the demo that captures motivation for the problem, the solution approach, results (if any), and a brief description of the technology demonstration. The abstract should use the same template as for the conference paper submission. Abstracts which do not adhere to the conference template will be rejected without review. All submissions must be in PDF format. There are following two different submission categories i.e. research demo, and product demonstrations.

  1. Research Demo: Research prototype with novel and clear technical contributions are invited. Authors of accepted full papers are highly encouraged to submit original demo entry. All the submitted entries will go through peer-review process. Accepted submissions in this category will be published/indexed in IEEE Explorer.
  2. Product Exhibitions: Proposals to showcase products from start-up and industries are invited in this category. All the sponsoring organizations are encouraged to submit an entry in this category. Accepted entries will be part of conference proceeding distributed to all the participants.
